Our Eligible for Direct Pay Non-Attorney (EDPNA) Training Program is designed to prepare non-attorney representatives to provide effective, ethical, and compliant representation for individuals seeking Social Security disability benefits while meeting the requirements for direct payment of authorized representative fees.
This Comprehensive Training Covers
- The Social Security disability claims process from application through appeals
- Eligibility requirements for becoming an Eligible for Direct Pay Non-Attorney (EDPNA)
- SSA rules, regulations, and policies governing non-attorney representatives
- Professional ethics, confidentiality, and standards of conduct
- Client intake, case development, and evidence gathering
- Medical records review and documentation
- Understanding medical and vocational evidence
- SSDI and SSI programs
- Communication with SSA, clients, and medical providers
- Hearing preparation and representative responsibilities before ALJs
- Fee agreements, fee petitions, and SSA direct payment procedures
- Case management, documentation, and recordkeeping best practices

- Test preparation, practice scenarios, and EDPNA exam strategy
Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively represent disability claimants, understand their responsibilities as an EDPNA, and confidently prepare for the EDPNA examination.
